Newest project is the"Manali" Collection - Pashmina and fine wool
We formed this partnership this past October 2017. Hand spun yarn, hand loomed on traditional old style looms - into gorgeous shawls that look and feel luxurious!
This group was formed by a group of tribal women in 2001 with the aim of creating and sustaining employment for women and their families in these poor and remote areas of the Himalayan Valley of Manali. They pride themselves on producing high quality, only hand woven cloth and eco friendly products. These women employ traditional techniques of weaving and they use a traditional style of equipment that has been used for hundreds of years. Weaving on a traditional framed loom is a true work of art!
