This cooperative was formed by a group of tribal women in 2001, with the aim of creating and sustaining employment for women and their families in these impoverished and remote areas of the Himalayan Valley of Manali, India. Marigold Collective supports artisans and communities engaged in the craft of hand-weaving and preserving heritage craft tradition.
